Yippee/Autism Creature

[edit]

Unfortunately, this creature does not appear to be released under a free license by its creator. --—‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 00:54, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

People are selling merchandise containing this artwork with permission of the author. I don't think they care about it being on Wikipedia. It's on the entire internet anyways. Also, one of the wikias mentions a share-alike license. Emdosis (talk) 01:11, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Edit: Dreamstime [1] and shutterstock have taken 4 autismcreature images (including this one) and turned them into vector images. They wouldn't be able to do this if there was copyright on these images. And according to Dreamstime, they are royalty free. Emdosis (talk) 01:58, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Delete "Royalty free" is not the same as under a free license. We also need explicit permission, not "other places on the internet think it's okay". The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 06:58, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Abstain On one side, I think they might be too simple to be copyright protected, on the other side, they probably out of commons scope. If they're really needed just make something similar using MS Paint in 5 seconds. (and place it in Category:User page images) TheImaCow (talk) 17:26, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per nomination, discussion. "It's on the entire internet anyways." is exactly the kind of argument nixed by COM:PCP. --Rosenzweig τ 10:20, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
