This template is inconsistent with a CC license -- a CC license covers all resolutions of the image, so this misleads users. .     Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 15:55, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Agree with nomination; this template seems to be promotional/self-promotional as it implies that one must buy higher quality version of this image than is shown here on Commons. Ellin Beltz (talk) 23:09, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Then suggest how to re-format it so that people can understand that it is possible to get higher resolution pictures if they so wish, for a cost, and that people are not required to make any purchase to use the commons size pictures. Removing the template, would probably invalidate the upload of the pictures, so it would mean that all pictures should be removed (deleted permanently) as well. Note that I have never put the higher resolution pictures up as CC license, and I do not wish to do so. I do not think the CC license legal text covers resolutions that have not been offered to the public. This seems like a fairly complicated issue. --Janwikifoto (talk) 15:03, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What I can say is that it is quite ok for me to remove the template, if all pictures tagged with it are removed/deleted as well, I have no problem or objection with that. --Janwikifoto (talk) 15:05, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As Janwikifoto agrees, I'm going to delete the template and the only image that uses it, File:Stefan Lofven 1c379 6362.face.jpg, which is unused.
There are two more templates like this in the user namespace, see:

I'm not going to make a call on these at the very moment, but maybe the same arguments apply if somebody nominates them. --Krd 10:19, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted per above. --Krd 10:19, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
