Template:OhioArc

This is a category navigation template — it's placed atop a "Built in Ohio in YEAR" category to provide basic elements. (For example, {{OhioArc|190|1}} provides a box navigating among other built-in-Ohio-in-190X categories, "Built in 1901" categories for other US states, and categorises the category into three parent categories. See it in use in this revision of Category:Built in Ohio in 1901.) It's been a highly useful template, but it's not needed anymore because we now have a national template for this purpose, and as you can see at the current revision of Built in Ohio in 1901, the result is identical. Each instance of this template has been bot-replaced with the national, e.g. {{OhioArc|190|1}} has been replaced with {{USStateArc|Ohio|190|1}}. I'm also nominating a few other templates for identical reasons:

• {{OhioArcDecade}}, replaced by {{USStateArcDecade}}
• {{OhioHousesArc}}, replaced by {{USStateHouseArc}}
• {{OhioHousesArcDecade}}, replaced by {{USStateHouseArcDecade}}
• {{OhioChurchesArcDecade}}, replaced by {{USStateChurchArcDecade}}
• {{OhioBridgesArcDecade}}, replaced by {{USStateBridgeArcDecade}}

Finally, similar series of templates exist for other states; I'm not nominating them because they haven't yet been bot-replaced, so this is basically a test nomination. Assuming it succeeds, I'll nominate others once they've been orphaned. Nyttend backup (talk) 14:45, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
