Freedom Monumet, Latvia

[edit]

From [1]. Undelete sculptures by Kārlis Zāle who died in 1942.

Delete the ones with blue links above and undelete all in 2031 per COM:URAA. I'm sorry, but w:Freedom Monument is from 1935. As such, it is protected by copyright in the United States for 95 years counted from 1935. --Stefan4 (talk) 13:29, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Or maybe not? Latvia seems to have had a copyright term of life+50 years in 1996, so these actually seem to be fine. --Stefan4 (talk) 13:31, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Keep As noted at Commons:International copyright quick reference guide, as of 2013 Latvian works by authors who died 1942 or earlier are fine (70 pma in Latvia, and Latvia had 50 pma on the URAA date - the work entered the public domain in 1993 and was re-copyrighted later, and has now expired again). Kept: as per Dcoetzee. Yann (talk) 11:02, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
