- Keep The Zoom interface is mostly below COM:TOO and/or COM:DM. And per meta:Wikilegal/Copyright in Zoom Images, the screenshot-taker is the sole copyright holder (it is not necessary to obtain a release from the individual participants). -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 00:14, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
- Comment The Wikilegal piece is WMF's strict legal view. We however tend to err more on side of cation and COM:PRP for the purpose of helping our reusers rather than strict liability. In my view their conclusion is not fully sound, as it does not go into how to determine if the participants angle of their camera's etc. are merely mechanical or set up artistically by the participant in some way. --Jonatan Svensson Glad (talk) 22:03, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
- And what makes you think you have a better understanding of copyright law than WMF legal? The last thing we want is for everyone to come up with their own interpretation, resulting in different DRs resolving differently based on who happened to show up to the discussion. In the absence of a community consensus enshrined in policy, the most definite source we have is this Wikilegal analysis. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:03, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

Kept: Per King of Hearts. I agree however some individual snapshots might be copyrighted. Therefore I will add a "de minimis" template to all files. --Ellywa (talk) 22:44, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
