The problems here are all the same. Images are fairly obviously not own work (movie posters, etc.) and all labeled with self-license. Some might be old enough to be reatined, but there is not enough information given to be able to do that. The images are all dated in the 2020s which is also not possible.

Many of these images have no apparent connection to Iran and are claimed as "own work." It's more complicated than it seems on the surface. Just because a building is in Iran, with "own work" applied, we can't prove it was painted in Iran by an Iranian because all we have is "own work." COM:EVID requires this information from the uploader. Ellin Beltz (talk) 02:00, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: almost all, per nomination. I kept a few where I either found the photographer (who died in 1968) or could establish that the photograph must have been taken over 100 years ago. Yes I know, for photographs Iran only has a term of protection of 30 years (per COM:IRAN), but after publication, and I'm not given evidence of publication (let alone a proper year) for any of these older presumably Iranian photographs. I also deleted all of the paintings, drawings etc. because I was not given enough information to determine their copyright status (which is not 30 years after publication as for the photos but death of the creator over 50 years ago / before 22 August 1980). A version of one of these drawings is at fa:پرونده:Markar_Khan_Davidkhanian.jpg as copyrighted, so apparently they don't know the author either. --Rosenzweig τ 15:40, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
