- Patrick Rogel I took those pictures myself. Why do want to delete it? Sokuya (talk) 15:49, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
- It's written above : there's freedom of panorama in Israel only for permanent exhibitions so the permission of the copyright holder of these posters is needed. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 15:55, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
- Geagea could you please review it? It's look like he want to delete all the pictures in Category:Municipal elections in Israel, 2018. Sokuya (talk) 15:58, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
- Sokuya, unfortunately it is correct. Although there is freedom of panorama (FoP) in Israel, But it's not includes temporary public display works (the posters are copyrightble works). I have some explantion in hebrew her. Also same issue mentioned her. Election posters displayed temporarily at a public place therefore photographs of them should be deleted. The only exceptions are posters that does not contain threshold of originality (סף מקוריות) and photographs that the poster is de minimis cases (כשהשלט נמצא בחלק שולי). -- Geagea (talk) 19:39, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
- Side question: I identified one of poster images as originating from the head of one of the lists running for office. Since he has the copyright will that image be safe? DGtal (talk) 05:38, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
