possible copyvios - newspaper scans - documents - scanned images - a flag that says "own work" but shows up here in 2009 - questionable authorship and copyright status on all of this material

Hi, All of documents on this page are from http://southazerbaijan.info/en/Archive.php and about copyright says: (The use of images and content on this website is completely free).

That flag which you are talking about, is fully different. That is flag of North Azerbaijan. But this one is South azerbaijan flag.

Anyway I do not think there should be any wrong or problem. Thanks: Aztap (talk) 02:35, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Part ot the files are old and in a very different condition which means, I'm afraid, that the site just greb photos from other sources. Geagea (talk) 00:25, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete There is no evidence that proves that this organization (southazerbaijan.info) is the copyright holder of those images. Takabeg (talk) 02:27, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Keep The SANLM is a political organisation and has activity for more than 20 years. I am an investigator and working on this topic for more than 5 years. Maybe in next two years i will publish a book about the South Azerbaijan in Persian and Azerbaijani languages... All of these documents and pictures are from my own archive and I have fully right to use does anywhere. If you want, I can send that for you. Anyway I think this is a good idea to save does on Wikimedia for other uses. Aztap (talk) 20:12, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. In Azerbaijan, the duration of copyright is 50 years post mortem auctoris. The duration of copyright for anonymous work is 50 years after publication unless the author is identified. All newspapers published after 1962 are copyrighted by the publisher, or for 50 years after the author death. See Commons:Copyright rules by territory#Azerbaijan. All newspaper files deleted, clear copyright violations. Official documents may be OK. Regards, Yann (talk) 19:15, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've deleted several more of these that appeared to be problems -- old photographs that are unlikely own work and several manuscripts and typescripts that have a copyright owned by the writer. .     Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 22:34, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
