False license: copyrights are hold by their respective owners, not the government of Indonesia.

Comment Some are OK, some not (hold by the various policical parties). --Patrick Rogel (talk) 23:36, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Comment Why some are OK, some are not? kindly please elaborate. Also, i think government of Indonesia are copyrights holder of indonesian government agency logo (some of them are mentioned below, such as OJK, ombudsman, bawaslu, BPOM, and etc). --Ckfasdf (talk) 02:33, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Ckfasdf: it's written above: some works are hold by various policical parties, not the government: e.g. File:Partai Reformasi (Indonesia).png by Partai Reformasi, File:Logo Partai Swara Rakyat Indonesia.png by Partai Swara Rakyat Indonesia and so on... --Patrick Rogel (talk) 15:43, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Patrick Rogel: Sorry, I missed your point on logo of gov't agencies... so gov't agencies logo are all OK. However for political party logo, according to Indonesian Copyright Act No 28 Year 2014 Chapter VI Article 43 Point d, distribution of copyrighted material is allowed for non commercial purpose (note that 'PD-IDGov' still refer to outdated copyright act.) and based on same Act Point b, Any Publication, Distribution, Communication, and/or Reproduction executed by or on behalf of the government are not copyright infringement, Since political party logo is also distributed by gov't agency (KPU/General Election Commision). Therefore, I believe that they are also OK.--Ckfasdf (talk) 12:54, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No, Government of Indonesia can't release under such a license a work he's not the author of. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 09:00, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You can say anything, but that is the rule in Indonesia as written on article 43 of latest copyright act. --Ckfasdf (talk) 09:28, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Ckfasdf: Once again you're wrong. Copyright (which lasts generally 70 years after the date of creation) doesn't magicaly disappear simply because a work is copyied elsewhere. Only the copyright holders (which are the various policical parties) may put it under a Creative Commons license. Nevertheless I don't know why you're intervening here since you're not the uploader so please wait for an Administrator's decision. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 11:42, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Patrick Rogel: Who decide copyright lasts around 70 years after date of creation? I believe it's the law who decide that and the law that we refer in this case is Indonesian copyright act, CMIIW. That law dictate an act which is not considered as copyright infringements, including "the production and distribution of the Copyrighted content through information technology and communication media that are not commercial and/or lucrative for the Author or related parties". Since I believe wikimedia commons is not intended for commercial purpose, therefore it should be OK to put the logo of various indonesian political party here. But OK.. let's wait for an Administrator decision. --Ckfasdf (talk) 15:22, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
First and though I'm not a specialist of International law it seems to me that treaties (Indonesia has signed 2002 the WIPO Copyright Treaty) are superior to local laws. Second Indonesia itself has decided the 70 years. Finaly commercial use must be allowed on Commons and it has nothing to do with copyright: IMO there's a confusion with fair use which is tolerated on some Wikipedias but not on Commons. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 16:27, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I know, WIPO copyright treaty acknowledges copyright limitation and commercial use of any files on Commons are still subject to copyright restriction. IMO --Ckfasdf (talk) 1:28, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

Keep File:Logo Badan POM.png is a logo of an Indonesian Government agency and therefore the copyright would indeed belong to the Indonesian Government. Several others are too simple such as File:Logo Partai SIRA (2017).png and File:Lambang Partai Aceh.jpg and File:Lambang Partai Nanggroe Aceh.png and File:Partai Bulan Bintang Logo.jpg. Deleted: most, kept some based on discussion. --JuTa 20:21, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Look, I recreated this logo my own using CorelDraw in high quality based on website of each website, I do not use licence of Government of Indonesia Patrick Rogel. User:Achmadmaulanaibr 21:39, 20 September 2019 (UTC+8)
@Achmadmaulanaibr: Yes you are right but this not mean logos are free. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 14:56, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per nomination. The logos are still copyrighted by their original owners even if they are recreated. A few of them are simple enough to not be covered by copyright, however. Please feel free to reupload to the Indonesian Wikipedia locally (as they do accept fair use). --Kaldari (talk) 00:28, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
