A US license is not enough for items that are from outside US

The three following files are Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0 Generic, as shown in the link given in the source box of each file. As far as I know this is perfectly legit. What more can be done? पाटलिपुत्र (talk) 15:54, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 Keep per पाटलिपुत्र. De728631 (talk) 16:41, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 Keep the rest:

These were made by Joseph David Beglar (1845–1907). {{PD-1923}}{{PD-old-100}}{{PD-India}}{{PD-Afghanistan}}

  • File:Bairat rock inscription.jpg by Eugen Hultzsch (d. 1927) and published in 1925. {{PD-art}} because it is a faithful reproduction of an ancient text that is long out of copyright. Only if one considers these inscriptions to be 3-dimensional, the photograph would become original, become subject to URAA and would still be copyrighted in the US.

{{PD-simple}} because these are faithful renderings of ancient texts that are out of copyright themselves.

Kept: per discussion / updates of licenses. --JuTa 13:35, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
