[edit]Although it is very possible that Terry Davis published those images with a public domain statement in his website, the images are unlikely selfies, therefore we need the permissions from the photographer(s)

- Keep The computer monitor and milling machine photos were almost certainly taken with a tripod, as were most photos of Davis. Ilovetopaint (talk) 19:12, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
- Delete Not taken with a tripod. We need a permission from the copyright holder. Regards, Yann (talk) 00:26, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- I would say Keep, as this image was released by Davis himself or his family on the TempleOS website under the stated license, but it could be argued that stated permission is necessary to keep this image on Commons. -NowIsntItTime (talk) 00:32, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- Delete sadly. The nominator is correct here. --Leoboudv (talk) 21:51, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- Keep all. As stated on the templeOS site, copyright holder was Davis and everything hosted on the site is in PD. Whether or not the photographer was Davis does not matter.--Roy17 (talk) 22:10, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- Keep per Roy17 et al. -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 19:36, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
Kept: no valid reason for deletion. --Ellin Beltz (talk) 21:24, 17 April 2019 (UTC)

User Ilovetopaint was probably confused when they thought that they were taken from a tripod. They are probably taken by family members or friends. Though, after consideration regarding the 'public domain mark 1.0' copyright, I think I agree that the images (some uploaded by me) were simply uploaded on archive.org using the wrong copyright. The templeos website is down at the time of me writing this and I can't really check the original image copyright. -NowIsntItTime (talk) 01:03, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- Keep I'm not confused. Davis took many selfies of himself with a tripod or by setting his camera on some surface. Many photos where this is more obvious are on the archive. There is no question that car.jpg is a selfie. 2000.jpg is almost certainly a selfie. Bill.jpg might be a selfie. Even if none of these were selfies, they were still likely taken by Davis' family, who have released them into public domain. Templeos.org links to the archive and states that "All content on this site is owned by Terry Davis and is in the public domain." The images on the archive were originally uploaded on templeos.org (but I'm not sure if they're still hosted). Ilovetopaint (talk) 10:26, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- You got a point there with the copyright that I agree with. And I think you're right with car.jpeg being a selfie, but looking at Terry's Bill, 2000, and even the monitor one, I have a logical reason to believe it's most likely a family member or at least a friend. But I don't think that alters the waiver in any way; it was up to Terry in the first place to release the images and not some random person that took it. -NowIsntItTime (talk) 22:14, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
