Out of scope: various user-created images bearing motivational quotes (some of which are rather strange!); all are unused outside userspace and have no clear educational purpose. A lot of these also use unsourced background images, making them derivative works.

Posters by definition are derivative ("Typically, posters include both textual and graphic elements"), so this in itself is not a valid reason for deletion. One could request deletion of all theatre posters as well, because they are derivative. Some posters in this list are my files and they are properly tagged as own work. They are based on my own photos, so I'm not sure, what more to write in the file description.
This, for example is a photo of an actual sign in a university: File:Buen día.jpg. It might be discussed whether it's a "motivational poster" (probably rather a motivational sign), but as a photo of real sign in a real university, it does have educational purpose. Deleted: per nomination. I kept a few which are used on user pages. --Yann (talk) 07:19, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
