 Keep Trademark restrictions are non-copyright restrictions. The files are clearly marked as {{Trademarked}} Ankry (talk) 11:01, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

This project may contain trademarks or logos for projects, products, or services. Authorized use of Microsoft trademarks or logos is subject to and must follow Microsoft's Trademark & Brand Guidelines.

and Microsoft's Trademark & Brand Guidelines says:

Microsoft’s brand assets—including the Microsoft Trademarks (PDF) (as updated from time to time), logos, icons, designs, trade dress, fonts, names of Microsoft software, products, services, sounds, emojis, and any other brand features and elements, whether registered or unregistered (“Brand Assets”)—are proprietary assets owned exclusively by Microsoft and its group of companies.

Don’t use Microsoft’s logos, icons, or designs, in any manner.

the MIT licence is clearly wrong, it is for the software code, not for the logos. -- FMM-1992 (talk) 12:50, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

Is there any mention that the MIT license does not apply to the logo? Almost all logos are tradmarked and their use for non-informational purposes requires permission. This was always considered as a non-copyright restriction. Ankry (talk) 17:02, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
