The disc art is non-free, and takes up most of the image. Eaaaaugh (talk) 18:05, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
I made a rough calculation and although the artwork is prominent, the area covered by the artwork is, I think, well under 60% of the entire image (i.e. omitting everything outside the disc, the centre hole and transparent areas around that, and the three segments (below the image, above the image and to the right hand side of the image)) which do not have artwork on them.
However we must do what we must do, and I leave it to those who are experts in these matters to decide whether to retain the photograph or not.
If the decision is to delete the photograph I wonder if a (lower resolution?) copy could be uploaded under “fair use“?
Alternatively, I should like to upload a cropped version. Essentially this would be the lower left-hand quarter of the existing image. It would omit the small Windows logo and show only a portion of the larger watermark design. Hopefully this would be okay, but comment from those who know about these things welcome to save wasting everyone’s time.
Respect to all,
