violates copyright; fake photo Cubgirl4444 (talk) 07:14, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
- Keep: This photo should not be deleted. It is a legitimate photo of a historical subject that was donated to Commons under the licence indicated, by the copyright holder. As indicated here the user has conflicted with many other editors, quit Wikipedia and is now using a false premise to try to "un-donate" her work to Commons. The image is significant and should be retained here. - Ahunt (talk) 13:11, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
- Keep. The claims that this image violates copyright and is faked arise in the context of a contentious withdrawal from Wikipedia and attempted removal of contributed material there:[1]. The claim cannot be taken at face value, not only for this reason but also because faking and breach of copyright are seldom seen together. This image was, to all appearances, legitimately released by the original owner under a Creative Commons license and has since been legitimately modified by another editor, Ahunt (talk · contribs), under that same license. The modifications are copyright of Ahunt and cannot be summarily deleted under this request.
