This file was initially tagged by Lukasz Lukomski as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: Photo extracted from a bigger one here: http://scarc.library.oregonstate.edu/coll/pauling/dna/pictures/portrait-hersheychase.html author is stated as Karl Maramorosch, who only died in 2016. Keep I checked the 1953 and 1954 volumes and did not get any results, so I think {{PD-US-no notice}} probably works here. —holly {chat} 02:39, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
