The music in the audio part of the video must be under a free licence. No declaration of the audio source in the file description. Pristurus (talk) 13:15, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The music was playing in the speakers of the butterflies room. I just took the sound track of my film, and I made it fit with the end of the movie. Should I add something in the description ? Benoit Rochon (talk) 13:23, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for this information. But I really don´t know an answer. I will inform user:Saibo as an commons admin to have a look to the deletion request and to find a way to keep it on commons. At least: you have done a great job, the video is really nice! Regards, --Pristurus (talk) 13:48, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, it was my first time at "the Montreal's butterflies" (like we call it here), and I really loved it. I was like 8 years old!
I'm skilled with film editing, and I tought it was a good idea to shoot this moment for Commons, I didn't know that the background sound could be a problem... maybe the music is too in front, maybe I can put more children voices to cover the music a little more ? The current sound track is made from 3 tracks, so I'm able to hide the music a little more, but not removing it completely. Let me know... Sincerely, Benoit Rochon (talk) 13:59, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Benoit, thank you for this video! Any music that contributes anything to this video is not okay unless you can show that the music (composition, the musician's performance and the recording) is free. There also is no freedom of panoarama for sound which could make the sound be okay here.
Please just remove the music track. Please also do not artifically add another music track as this would be a benefit for the documentary character of the video (we are not doing holiday videos here ;-) ). Please just upload a new version under the same file name - we can hide the old version then. Cheers --Saibo (Δ) 15:18, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
✓ Done... I did a loop of 22 seconds were there was no music... that way, I was able to remove all kind of background music. I also reduce the bit rate and and resolution, because video was lagging. Thanks for your help. Benoit Rochon (talk) 18:10, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect! :-) Thank you. Since we, sadly, do not have server-side scaling/compression available you could also upload a low-quality and a high-quality version and link them with each other with the "other versions" field. --Saibo (Δ) 18:20, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Possibly copyrighted music is removed. Saibo (Δ) 00:51, 12 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
