Reason:
Jasenovac monument on site of Jasenovac concentration camp - largest extermination camp in the Independent State of Croatia. Site of before unseen butchering of Serbians, Jews and Romas. Colors and atmosphere are rellevant to its reputation and atmosphere there. Even nowdays those areas are so empty. -- Mile (talk)
I prefer darker colors at such spots (ambient depicted somehow), as for other concentracion camps...that one is too lively, and too close shot (also tigth crop). --Mile (talk) 07:38, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Its same, wouldnt change much, since there is just a museum near, which has "ongoing work" some 20 years and Croats never opened it since end of Yugoslavia. --Mile (talk) 17:37, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good detailed and informative photo of the monument structure and composition as a whole. -- MrPanyGoff
Oppose Atmosphere isnt appropriate for such commemoration centre. No coordinates, description in one language, IQ lower than in my candidate. Also that lake around (part of Sava river before) has some more role, corpses were often thrown in water, floating to Belgrade. Check site i gave. --Mile (talk) 11:50, 19 April 2011 (UTC) p.S. You dont do such close shots for big objects.[reply]
Comment - Very nice photo but the eternal dispute about the sportsmen images comes again. There are two more good photographs so I suggest opening a MVR;) --MrPanyGoff15:39, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Support - Actually I also think this is the best but at first I try to avoid some wrong interpretation of this symbolic composition.--MrPanyGoff16:47, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Support This image is the same as the next, if I'm not mistaken.[1] The only difference is that the next image is compressed more. The first image is lower resolution and includes xray emission (blue) so that the extensive distribution of extremely hot gas is visible. Also, the field of view is somewhat larger and less dynamic ranges is shown (little detail is visible in the bright emission nebulae). I think this one is the best illustration of the mainscope. The first image is a valuable illustration of the xray emission of this object. --Walter Siegmund(talk)00:22, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's right, this scope name is better. The important thing is that this is the Old City not the whole Dubrovnik. As for the nominated image, it is very informative but tilted which is quite distracting. --MrPanyGoff11:46, 8 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
