English: Shimon Peres (born 1 August 1923) is an Israeli politician and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Peres served twice as the Prime Minister of Israel and once as Interim Prime Minister, and has been a member of 12 cabinets in a political career spanning over 66 years. He served as the ninth President of the State of Israel in 2007 to 2014.
