I don't know what's cross-link. So, I looked it up, but there where only articles about bad editing or violations. An example: meta:Wiki_is_not_paper. Pv7721 to Vlad

Hello! I'm user Vlad on several important wikipedias (en.wiki, fr.wiki) and on ro.wiki (where I first registered, and where I was a sysop & checkuser (resigned of my own will when I no longer had time for my sysop duties). When creating my commons login the Vlad account was already created, and I don't think usurpation was possible back then. OK thanks, but that's technically not a crosslink, it is not in both directions. (is my boilerplate in need of better wording?) To do a crosslink if you don't have a matrix: On one of those user pages, using that ID, please place "I am Commons:User:DavidShankbone" or something similar ... you can immediately delete it again if you like but then supply the diff here. That establishes the linkage in both directions. (It is highly implausible that you are NOT that user, but that makes sure... we have had imposters before.) Hope that helps clarify matters. Es estraño que te diga que el usuario no existe, podría ser que hubieses olvidado la contraseña y te dijese que es inválida, pero que te diga que el usuario no existe me sorprende. Y además, si no puedes escribir ese nombre de usuario y es el tuyo, tampoco podrás escribir otro nombre diferente (no tengo demasiada idea de informática, pero quizás pueda ser cosa de las cookies y podría deberse a haber cargado un antivirus o por el estilo).

Te recomendaría que hicieses 3 cosas, intependientes la una de la otra: 1-Que pruebes en otros ordenadores (varios), por si son las cookies u otra cosa. 2-Que copies el nombre de aquí (Bucho) y lo pegues en el lugar en el que al registrarte tienes que poner el usuario. 3-Que pidas ayuda en Commons:Café preguntando por qué puede pasar eso. Hi, I would be grateful if you could help with the following.

I am User:Dovi at most Wikimedia wikis; I am a b'crat at he.wikisource.org and an admin at wikisource.org.

However, here at Commons when I first logged in I made some sort of error with my password, and didn't put in an e-mail address. User:Dovi here at Commons is me, but I haven't been able to log in ever since, and have been contributing instead as User:DoviJ.

The User:Dovi account has 0 contributions.

I just finished creating my global account for all Wikimedia projects but I cannot complete it here at the Commons because of the above problem.

As a b'crat, is there anything you can do regarding renaming that can solve the problem? If User:DoviJ could be renamed as User:Dovi it would solve the problem.

Hi. I would like to use a unified account (urashimataro), and I do own the same user name in both Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons (urashimataro). To do this got to your home wiki (en wp?) and on your user page there make an edit stating something along the lines of "I am user:Tarourashima on Commons and I confirm I want to change my name to my name on this wiki". If you then go to the "history" of your talk page and "compare" the edit with the previous one you will have the "diff" (difference). Copy the url from your browser and post that here. Ah, now I understand Your problem, You said "SUL for User:César was recreated again", this is just the creation of the account, not the activation of SUL, so in order to rename HohesC to César You first have to rename César to something else (since it has been created automatically by the owner of the global account, and accounts can't be deleted) and then rename HohesC to César.
