Discussion

Bot status may be needed to query larger number of subcategories and/or files (eg download the featured pictures to make a clean images dataset where a category has more than 500 images).cmcontinue keyword handles that. Some experience with manually assisted edits with Commons:DtMediaWiki and a machine learning dataset published here (Natural Image Noise Dataset). --Trougnouf (talk) 15:39, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Which results for Commons will bot provide? --EugeneZelenko (talk) 15:19, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what your are asking. The bot would perform the categorization and templating that I usually do manually. This includes personal categories such as Category:Photographs_by_Trougnouf/BC_2018 and the related standard categories such as relevant time and locations (possibly even the likes of Category:Civil twilights of Belgium), and ideally categorize the large backlog that is Category:Quality images by Trougnouf with other quality cats based on standard categories. --Trougnouf (talk) 15:17, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think all these categorization work should be done on the main account. You may use scripts to assist you to perform these edits (like Cat-a-Lot); but as long as all edits are 100% reliant on manual input these should be performed without a bot account or bot flag. --Schlurcher (talk) 10:40, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
