I would really like to recommend Elya to you as a new commons-sysop! Elya is a very kind, trustfully, firm and helpful long-term contributer. Her native language is german and on the german language-wikipedia she's also a sysop, so she has got experiences with the tools yet.
On Commons her work is very diversified. She already worked on categorys and other maintenance work. The tools would be a great help for her because many of those things she does usually could be easier with the tools and she beeing an admin would also be a great addition for our whole team.
She accepted the nomination on her talk-page, so I don't think I have to wait till she did it here to include this page on COM:RfA.

Thanks ABF, I confirm that I accept the nomination. I'm a regular contributor with my own images, and from time to time I get crazy over chaotic categories and do heavy cleanups. •  Oppose because of too law requirements on article quality in German Wikipedia. Users who – like elya does – systematically refuse to delete articles of almost no content (e.g. like such one) and sometimes even restore them without an undeletion request (like here) should imho not have admin tools at all, otherwise the quality and external reputation of the project is in danger. --S^[1] 18:27, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

  First, the article you linked is by no means speedy-deletable, so Elya was right to refuse to do so. If she had deleted it, that would be a reason to oppose. Second, this is about adminship at Commons, not about behavior at de-wp. —Angr 13:08, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

  Given Commons' "subservient" nature (for lack of a better phrase) in regards to all other wikis, I think behavior on other wikis is admissible evidence.
