I have been actively helping out as a license reviewer on the commons since February of this year and have been an since April of this year. I would like to have admin rights in order to clean up images that have failed OTRS or license review but I am also willing to help with other admin tasks. MorganKevinJ(talk) 22:38, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

- Oppose. Is this your first and primary account here? (then) Short experience, very few contributions, poor judgement in public deletion requests (cannot comment on missing-permission and otrs-related tags). NVO (talk) 03:08, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- Neutral. I've seen him around at enwiki. I don't see any serious issues, and I think he could be of use. Although, experience might be an issue. Rehman 04:44, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- Weak support. It seems he's done quite a bit of edit patrolling, with 9800 of those; with an edit count of 3200 that's 6600 definite non-autopatrols. Whenever I check past-day closures for OTRS permissions-en or permissions-commons, there's often nobody or a token few working on them other than myself. Thankfully I have seen Morgankevinj showing up in recent checks, though still not enough to handle the number of emails that come in and create a backlog if I don't pitch in for several hours. My concern is that there will be even less time dedicated to the OTRS tickets as a result of adminship. I personally often have to choose between OTRS backlogs or admin backlogs. – Adrignola talk 18:56, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- Support 3300 edits in 6 months of continuous editing is enough expirience. Good and trustworthy work with OTRS, thanks. --Martin H. (talk) 02:12, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Weak support I don't think you'll harm commons. Everyone new here makes mistakes and as long as we try to minimize their amount and occurrences and try to solve them, it is tolerable. Continue with licensing and OTRS work, please. -- RE rillke questions? 17:46, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
- Support approx. 10000 contributions are more than some administrators ever did. Besides, he reminds users to request permissions rather than nominate files for deletion. The result is sometimes the same, but personally, I think it's the preferable approach. -- Docu at 01:31, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
- Support Per Docu. Why not, contributions are quite good. --WhiteWriter speaks 11:03, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

- Response to above concerns: While I do plan to help with admin tasks I do plan to keep OTRS and license review as my main area of focus. Admin rights will allow me to quickly respond to copyvio tickets, clean up Unsourced Flickr images reviewed by FlickreviewR and restore previously deleted images.
