Commons:Administrators/Requests/Brianhe
- Closed without prejudice as an invalid nomination by a user evading a global ban, and with words of sorry towards @Brianhe for falling victim to this joke. If anyone else wants to nominate Brian to become a Commons administrator, please open a new RfA; thanks! odder (talk) 10:27, 6 February 2016 (UTC)

I hereby nominate Brianhe for adminship. With more than global edits and local edits, Yasu is an experienced Commons user with valuable language skills I believe the admin team would be benefited by this addition.
Brianhe has been a since. His participation to deletion requests and license reviews over the years demonstrates that he has a good grasp of copyright and Commons procedures. He is one of the few editors who can effectively investigate copyright issues. See for example. (It's not all of them—many are left uncategorized.)
He has made thousands of edits to categories. Categories can sometimes cause disagreement and contentions, but he seems to manage it well to not break things and harmonize with others. He strikes me as mellow and constructive even in disagreement—I believe we look for such attitude in administrators. 忍者ポップ (talk) 05:49, 6 February 2016 (UTC) Candidate's acceptance:

- The nominator is obviously trolling and socking to evade a global ban. Follow the trail: Special:CentralAuth/忍者ポップ, meta:Special:Contributions/忍者ポップ, meta:Special:Diff/15291947, Special:CentralAuth/Jume Heart, en:User:Jume Heart, en:Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of Никита-Родин-2002. The nominee is in all likelihood an entirely innocent bystander, but this nomination should really be closed without prejudice and reopened by a legitimate nominator if the nominee wishes to be a candidate. —LX (talk, contribs) 09:32, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
- In addition the user does need to accept the nomination and also their user page is not really an acceptable standard for a Commons admin. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 09:06, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
