[edit]

The category Category:Onroerend erfgoed in Flanders is subdivided into subcategories e.g. Category:Onroerend_erfgoed in Knokke-Heist. For a few municipalities I went a step further and divided those further into 'submunicipalities' (deelgemeenten) e.g. Category:Onroerend erfgoed in Knokke (Knokke-Heist)‎. For alphabetisiton in the main catgeory I add a blank space in front e.g. [[Category:Onroerend_erfgoed in Knokke-Heist| Knokke]]

Even then a few categories remain very crowded. For a few towns I started with a further subdision into streets. I is a little duifficult on when to divide and when not. I seems logical to me that 40+ images merit a proper subcategory e.g. Category:Onroerend erfgoed in Brabantdam (Gent). For less than 10 images this might not be the case. For alphabetisiton in the main catgeory I add an asteriks in front e.g. [[:Category:Onroerend erfgoed in Ghent|*Brabantdam (Gent)]]

I do understand that there is some mix-up between native language (Dutch) and English names. I suppose it is a bad idea to translate street names in English? I have no perfect solution for myself.

Has anybody remarks or sugestions?

For the 'submunicipalities' (deelgemeenten) you could/should use the same name as the deelgemeenten. So Category:Duinbergen and Category:Onroerend erfgoed in Duinbergen instead of Category:Onroerend erfgoed in Duinbergen (Knokke-Heist). As you already have created some I suppose you leave those. Lets see what others think about is. HenkvD (talk) 21:31, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
