This hut is the second DOC hut on the Milford Track, at the head of the Clinton Valley, Fiordland. The next hut, the third and last one, is the Dumpling Hut.
The Mintaro Hut replacement became operational in April 2021 and replaced the old hut 1.5 km further down the valley.
