Max N. Lindauer (1860-1936) was a pioneer farmer in Missouri. His parents were influenced by the writings of Friedrich Münch, and in 1868 the family left Pennsylvania, travelling down the Ohio river to Washington, Missouri. He died in 1936 at age 75.
