"Cossack balachka" (Ukrainian: Козацька балачка) is the name of the Ukrainian dialect that was spoken by Ukrainian Cossacks. Zaporizhian Cossacks that moved to Kuban and became known as the Black Sea Cossacks still speak this dialect in Russia, although it has been influenced by Russian grammar. It is also spoken by the other Cossack groups in Russia, although to a lesser extent.
