English: The Würzburg radar was deployed by Germany during World War II. It took its name from the city of Würzburg for no other reason than the project leader liked geographical names.

日本語: ウルツブルグは第二次世界大戦時にドイツが開発した対空レーダーの名称である。当時としては画期的な性能の物だった。日本にも技術指導の為にテレフンケン社からハインリッヒ・フォダス技師が派遣された。戦後は各国で電波望遠鏡として使用されたものもある。
