Categorization
[edit]Thanks for the Amtrak station images you've taken and uploaded! A note about categorization: unlike hashtags on social media websites, categories are hierarchical, meaning you only need to use the most specific categories. For example, if you place an image in Category:Kewanee station, it doesn't need to go into the much broader Category:Amtrak or Category:Kewanee, Illinois. Additionally, for Amtrak stations, images of the stations themselves shouldn't be categorized by the services that stop there unless the train is in the photo. (That way, categories like Category:Illinois Zephyr contain only images related to the services themselves, not a bunch of images of train stations with no trains visible.) Here is an example of how I've adjusted categories on one of your uploads. If you have questions, feel free to reply here or ask on my talk page. Cheers,
