he.wikipedia.org - request for help

Hey! I need your help :) You are the only user I know, who is active on he.wikipedia.org. I wanted to register my PolarBot there, but find no way (the talk page to request a flag is protected). It’s a simple pywikipedia bot, autonomous mode, runs with bot flag on en, de, da, no, fr, it, es, no, is, cz, ru, nl, pl, … Do you have any advice? Hi, it seems that your bot has trouble with the alphabetic order of interwiki links (see here). Can you fix this? -- Robert Weemeyer 10:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Bot welcomes

Hello! Just a note; some new users have been pointing out that they didn't receive the "new messages" bar when welcome bots left them a message on their talk page. Since bot edits marked as minor don't leave the bar, could you change things so welcome messages are not marked as such? This will help newbies who may not see the message otherwise. Help please

I can't read the language and believe you can. I deleted 5 images from this user because the source website I couldn't access, it was from Google and it was using attribution which leads to copyvio. You can just join the Google group and the user says he has permission, but I can't read the language. Can you help please? If it checks out okay, you can just undelete the 5 images or let me know. הבעיה היא שלא עברו 70 שנה מאז מותו של הצלם ולאיטליה יש חוק שונה שלא ברור מהו, אבל הוחלט שהתמונות ההם אינן מותרות בוויקישיתוף (כתוב ככה גם בתבנית הרישיון בוויקיפדיה האיטלקית):

"Warning: this image is public domain in Italy, but in other countries it might be considered differently. Please verify if italian public domain is compliant with your country's law before using it. However, this image cannot be uploaded on Wikimedia Commons."

Flickr question

Hey, I was cruising around flickr and I saw this image and I thought it might work on Wikipedia!!! So I see the license on it and it says "All Rights Reserved" and I went through the users profile and luckily he had a website and I went to his website and he had a MySpace and I contacted him asking if I could use one of his images he said YES and I asked him if he could change the license to "Some Rights Reserved" and he said I could use the image anywhere I wanted and gave me this: Link to save the image and upload it!!! Now, my question is, can I use the image, even though the license states: "All Rights Reserved"? Zerorules677 21:06, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Call to arms

Hi Yonatanh. I write to you and all other users listed on the Welcome log helpers list, except for EugeneZelenko this Call to arms. The reason for it is that I have seen very little activity on the project by you. Because of this we have most probably failed to check the contributions of thousands of new users and have not been able to inform them of the practices on Wikimedia Commons in a timely fashion, causing more work for us and the contributor later in the process.

I would like to urge you to make a habit of checking at least 10 or so new user's contributions from the Commons:Welcome log each day you are active here. We welcome about 200 new users with contributions each day and we currently have 19 users on the helpers list. You can find links to some helpful scripts on the welcome log page, that are likely to make your life a lot easier.
