When categorising files, please avoid placing them into several categories that are directly linked within the same tree (e.g. a parent category and a child category – like Category:United Kingdom and Category:London), to prevent over-categorization of files and over-population of categories. Alps categories

besides. what would be the sense of Category:Nature of the Alps? only two cats, what would you place else in there? W!B: (talk) 22:35, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Just thought if they would grow in the future somehow... perhaps? Otherwise the new stuff would possibly go to Category:Alps again so it was recommended to make subcategories to orginize such media.Ximonic (talk) 18:39, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

I think we don't have such study as orography, not sure but have never heard about. We do have geomorphology which (with geology) belongs to geography. There might be some differences between the finnish and english arrangements. Ximonic (talk) 18:54, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Category:Norwegian national roads

Please be aware that by the start of 2010 the norwegian road system will be reformed. The trunk roads only will stay national roads, the other roads will be transferred to regional roads (fylkesvei). I think it is advisable to wait a couple of months before further categorizing of norwegian roads. Regards, BjørnN (talk) 22:33, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
