Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Maryland maps

Thank you for uploading these; however there may be a problem with the 1970 and 1980 maps. If you look in the bottom left corner it says © S.R.C.M. or S.H.A., meaning that they are still under copyright, unless the SHA explicitly disowns any copyright (which would have to be more formal than a personal communication).

As for the pre-1964 maps, according to [1], they are now in the public domain, since searching [2] for 'Maryland state highway' or 'Maryland state road' gives no matches. You'll want to use {{PD-US-not renewed}} on these, unless any have no copyright notice, in which case {{PD-US-no notice}} is the appropriate template. --NE2 (talk) 05:06, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
