Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Categorising

Hi. Thanks for the maps you uploaded to commons. It would help a lot if you could add a category when you upload. For instance, the presidential election maps get added to Category:Presidential election maps of **** where the *** is the state name. The higher level category is Election maps of ****. About your election maps

Hey U-dble!

I very much so appreciate your election maps as they are incredibly helpful, especially for older years that often don't have them and it gets readers a better visual understanding. Although you are doing a good job, I suggest to you making them fit historical county boundaries for the period the election took place. If you would like an example look at the 1896 California presidential election map you made.

Source for counties results

Hi @U-dble - Thanks for creating various maps of presidential elections in states, but please let me know what sources do you use for getting the specific county result? It would be a great help as I need to cite it in for a FLC. Thanks! --Kavyansh.Singh (talk) 09:20, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
