Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

Please use SVG Thank you for uploading some images! Did you know that Wikimedia Commons recommends the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for certain types of images? Scalable Vector Graphics are designed to look appropriate at any scale, and SVG images are easier to modify and translate, helping Wikimedia to distribute knowledge to all of the world. A lot of modern programs support SVG export. If you encountered problems or have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the Graphics village pump. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. (To avoid any misunderstandings, please don't just put raster images into an SVG container as embedded raster.) it looks fine tbh, you should highlight major/minor gridlines more so people can guess exact number in each age.

It's very interesting to see how you did it. Could you share the document with the macros, as an xlsm file? I've been thinking about how to gat the manual labor down while doing a gif, but I'm unsure how to do it and I'm bad with macros. Animated population pyramids

Hi Tallungs,

I love the work you do on animated population pyramids. That's fantastic! I created a new category dedicated to these files (Category:Animated population pyramids) and added yours in it.

Thank you especially for the German animated pyramid with data from Destatis. I saw that you saw my message to Sdgedfegw where I requested this file

On the same discussion page, I told Sdgedfegw that I discovered detailed demographics data for Ukraine : http://www.lv.ukrstat.gov.ua/dem/piramid/all_e.php It was in April and he didn't reply, so I guess he does not have enough time anymore to make animated pyramids. Don't hesite to use the data from this page to create a file for Wikimedia
