Hallo Martin Sg., die Diskussion um diese Bilder gab es schon einmal, und wir kamen zu dem Ergebnis, dass die beiden Künstler dargestellt sind und das Kunstwerk nur als Beiwerk erscheint. Rund 10 Jahre lang störten dann die Bilder niemanden und es ist auch nicht damit zu rechnen, dass Herr Morkramer künftig Honoraransprüche geltend macht. Aber wenn Du meinst, das Bild löschen zu müssen, will ich Dich nicht daran zu hindern versuchen. Demnächst darf wohl auch kein Porträt von einer Frau in die Commons hochgeladen werden, die eine Brosche trägt; denn die Brosche ist ein Kunstwerk, möglicherweise sogar ein Unikat. Aber noch mal zurück zu Morkramer: Ich habe schon länger keine Verbindung mehr mit ihm, habe es leider auch versäumt, ihm vor zwei Jahren zum 90. Hallo Derbrauni, es freut mich, dass Dir meine Bearbeitungen gefallen. Ich mache so was mit Gimp 2.6. Das ist ein relativ einfach zu handhabendes, schon älteres Bildbearbeitungsprogramm. Auf dem Laptop meiner Frau habe ich eine neuere Version, mit der ich mich aber schwertue. – Die Perspektive zu korrigieren ist kein Problem. Man klickt im „Werkzeugkasten“ auf „Perspektive …“ (gut zu erkennendes Symbol) und zieht oder schiebt mit der Maus an den Ecken des Bildes, bis die Linien senkrecht stehen. Wenn das Bild nicht mehr verzerrt erscheint, klickt man auf die Schaltfläche „Transformation“. Aber aufpassen, dass das Bild noch natürlich wirkt. Mitunter zieht man eine Seite zu hoch oder schiebt sie zusammen. Manchmal muss man aber auch auf die Korrektur verzichten, weil zum Beispiel am Straßenrand parkende Autos unnatürlich breit werden. Wenn die Korrektur fertig ist, Bild zuschneiden. Dabei geht freilich einiges an den Seiten verloren. Will man aber zum Beispiel unten links und rechts nicht zu viel wegschneiden, fehlt oben mitunter ein Stück Himmel, das sich jedoch in der Regel hineinkopieren lässt. – Was ich mit meinem Gimp 2.6 nicht korrigieren kann, ist die Fassverzerrung, diese krummen Linien, wie bei dem Foto von dem Gedenkzeichen. Da habe ich „geschummelt“, das heißt schmale gerade Streifen ausgeschnitten und über die gebogenen Linien gezogen. Das geht freilich meistens nicht, bei einem Barockrahmen zum Beispiel ist es unmöglich. – Meine Kenntnisse in Bildbearbeitung sind laienhaft und reichen bei Weitem nicht aus, um eventuell ein Seminar beim Dresdner Stammtisch zu halten. Außerdem ist Dresden sehr weit weg von hier, und mit 79 fahre ich nur noch ungern lange Strecken. – Mein „Es reicht“ betrifft die Quality-Images-Kandidatur. Da ist mir die Art einiger Leute, wie sie Bilder bewerten, einfach zu dumm geworden. Ich lade immer noch Fotos in die Commons hoch, mitunter sehr alte, und stelle sie bei den „Valued Images“ vor, wenn ich den Eindruck habe, dass sie sich zur Bebilderung eines Artikels gut eignen oder dass es seltene Aufnahmen sind. Since VIC operates according to simple majority vote, if I comment instead of oppose, the image is promoted tomorrow and no issue is addressed. It's unfortunate, but the way our process is set up. I was about to create the other category myself, since there are several "IBM 72" pictures, but it seems like the model was rebranded (and better known as) the Selectric I. The only thing I'd say for the discussion is that in general, I believe I understand correctly that scopes should be visible except when it comes to specific formatting for identifying artworks, artists and the like, and in that sense, it seems like it would make sense to subtract some unnecessary words from the scope (we don't see the specific course she was taking, for example, just that she's typing). The photo is unquestionably useful, so it's only the phrasing of the scope that's at issue. Thanks for clarifying. I take your word for the correctness of the typewriter model. The problem with the scope is that it combines "schoolgirl" + "IBM 72" + "fast writing training" + "around 1975". It might be useful to combine two of those, but I'd argue that we should have separate scopes for "IBM 72, in use", [something like] "typewriter training", "students with typewriters", etc. Perhaps this image could even be VI in multiple scopes? I just don't think VI is useful if we can combine so many elements. Would it also be appropriate to have e.g. "Schoolgirl doing fast writing training at the ball head typewriter IBM 72 around 1976"? It seems interesting to me to say what the girl is doing (she obviously doesn't do any office work), what typewriter it was and when the picture was taken. Of course, the scope could have been called something else. At this time, the picture is only available in the article "Zehnfingersystem". The scope could also have been formulated according to this.
