Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Categories

Hi Smallru, did you understand that you necessarily must categorize your images to make them findable for other users? See Commons:Categories. Keep in mind that pure uploading of images (without giving them categories) doesn't make any sense. Please don't produce data trash, categorize your images! Copyright status of mineral photos

You have uploaded some photographs of minerals that have a watermark ©www.pegmatite.ru. I did not find an indication on the www.pegmatite.ru website that these photos have a copyright status that is acceptable for Wikimedia Commons, for example CC-BY-SA. Therefore, I think that the information on Wikimedia Commons about these photos is currently insufficient to prove that these photos belong to you. It is possible to solve this problem. I suggest that you can use the OTRS system of Wikimedia Commons to prove your identity and your ownership of the website and the CC-BY-SA copyright status of the photographs. I hope my suggestion will help you to avoid problems, for example, avoid possible deletion of the photos because of possible copyright violations. GeoWriter (talk) 15:41, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
