Hi Slicker. What did you mean by this edit? Could you be more specific? Thanks, User:dbenbenn 15:05, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, sorry for not being more specific. Take a look here: [1]. This is obviously a script generating svgs and incrementing a number. Although it may not be entirely mallicious as the user may just check a script, this is not what commons is for. Lemme know what you think.08:36, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
I think this is one of the things the Commons is for. We have lots and lots of Diagrams of road signs. They can be useful for Wikipedia articles about highways, for example. And there's no shortage of disk space. User:dbenbenn 16:13, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
But not for mindless spam. All you need is one image. As it is svg you can edit the number by just placing the number! Otherwise one would have to come up with a very intelligent or bothersome search engine that can filter those images as just one "folder" or something. Think about it. So you would deem it okay if i have a php script that doesn't have todo anything but i could just past the whole xml/svg content and place a simple increment on the number! Lemme know what you think and be open minded. I for myself am a programmer and especially later noticed how primitive it is to make such a script, meaning you don't even have to include svg generation functions.Slicker 08:15, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
