[edit]

На страницу описания оригинала нужно поставить маркер {{Duplicate|Image:New Name}}.--Kaganer 14:36, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

-- Sergey kudryavtsev 13:42, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Сравни Image:Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace from Anichkov Bridge St. Petersburg.jpg и Image:Stroganov Palace.jpg. --Kaganer 15:03, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Теперь понятно, только я его не переименовывал, я брал w:en:Image:Stroganov Palace.jpg, загрузил его на commons как Image:Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace from Anichkov Bridge St. Petersburg.jpg, в английской Вики поправил, чтобы везде использовалось изображение с Commons'а, а на в w:en:Image:Stroganov Palace.jpg поставил пометку w:en:Template:NowCommons и w:en:Template:Delete. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 10:05, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yusupovsky Garden in Saint Petersburg

[edit]

Sorry that the description of Commons:Quality images candidates was not clear, you are welcome to create a Russian translation of the page (there is currently only an English and German version). I have moved your image to Commons:Photography_critiques#Yusupovsky_Garden_in_Saint_Petersburg where you will probably get the help you are looking for. I hope that helps :-) --Tony Wills 10:24, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank. To translate Commons:Quality images candidates it's needed better knowledge of English that mine. And i (with my skills) consider English text is not clear. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 12:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Patrol110 (talk · contribs) tagged the image with {{copyvio|It's not PD, is copyrighted!!}} (deleted edit undeleted edit). I'll undelete and take to COM:DEL to get some more discussion on this, as is my policy when my deletions are questioned. Giggy 10:40, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm abstaining as the point of the discussion is to get a discussion based on my (possibly incorrect) action. Sorry for all this clutter... Giggy 12:53, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am not offended by your. I think that you act with a good intentions.  :-) Of course i may upload this logo at ru.wiki as fair use. But i want to clear up for myself, how to handle in a such situation. -- Sergey kudryavtsev 13:09, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Isaakievskiy_Sobor.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multilicense GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you.

Please help replace this outdated license

[edit]

Hello!

Thank you for donating images to the Wikimedia Commons. You have uploaded some images in the past with the license {{PD}}. While this was a license acceptable in the early days of Wikimedia, since January 2006, this license has been deprecated and since October 2008 no new uploads with this license was allowed.

The license on older images should be replaced with a better and more specific license/permissions and you can help by checking the images and adding {{PD-self}} if you are the author or one of the other templates that you can see in the template on the image page.

Thank you for your help. If you need help feel free to ask at Commons talk:Licensing or contact User:Zscout370.

The images we would like you to check are:

Hi Sergey, I need you to clarify the licensing of the above files, or I'll have to nominate them for deletion. Also File:Andrewcathedral1930.jpg has a problem: the date is 1930 but the license requires publication before 1917. Thanks, Rd232 (talk) 16:48, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You may to nominate them for deletion. It has low quality and essential as a illustrations for wikipedia's articles. In addition i specified source link for File:The interior of St. Andrew's cathedral St. Petersburg.jpg, for others two, i doesn't remember it. -- Sergey kudryavtsev (talk) 06:42, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
OK... where does that source say the photo is PD? Rd232 (talk) 08:56, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There is no permitions at all. -- Sergey kudryavtsev (talk) 12:27, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Rosenstern house" for "Дом Розенштейна" is a typo

[edit]

// Dear colleague, you have created Category:Rosenstern house (Saint Petersburg). Please note that there is a typo in the title: there should be Rosenstein, not Rosenstern. Please would you consider correcting it. Sincerely, Potekhin (talk) 17:42, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:46, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

-- Sergey kudryavtsev (talk) 20:47, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:St. Vladimir's cathedral.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:St. Vladimir's cathedral.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.
