File:Tibellus macellus 01.JPG
[edit]I have removed your speedy delete tag from File:Tibellus macellus 01.JPG as no reason was given nor obvious. If this qualifies for speedy deletion, please explain why. If you think it should be deleted but may not qualify for speedy deletion, please list it with an explanation at Commons:Deletion requests. Thanks. Infrogmation (talk) 13:29, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Hi Sanja565658, if you don't provide a reason for your deletion requests (such as for Category:Ambrostoma quadriimpressum), they will not be performed. --Túrelio (talk) 21:54, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- There is not correctly file name. I want delete it. Then search correct name of the file. --Sanja565658 (talk) 13:14, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, but that's not very reasonable. It can be deleted after you have uploaded it again under the "correct" name. But it would make more sense, if you propose a better name so that the current file can be renamed (command is: newname.jpg ). --Túrelio (talk) 13:20, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Patroller
[edit]Hi. I have granted you patroller rights. This was done in an attempt to reduce a backlog at Special:NewPages. If you have any questions, please let me know. Cheers, Tiptoety talk 19:10, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oh I know what it is and I agree. I have same status in Russian Wikipedia, therefore I haven`t questions.--Sanja565658 (talk) 19:23, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
User galleries
[edit]Hi Sanja565658. According to COM:USER, your galleries should probably be in your userspace. For example the page Mycota by Sanja565658 should be renamed to User:Sanja565658/Mycota. PiRK (talk) 16:34, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
- Why this pages can not be remain unchanged? I have done something brake? --Sanja565658 (talk) 11:25, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- On COM:USER#Gallery_pages you can read "Users are welcome to create galleries of their own work on pages that are subpages of their user page, e.g. "User:Example/Gallery".". The main namespace is only for pages that are interesting for everybody. Your own user galleries aren't. --PiRK (talk) 11:42, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, I will do this. --Sanja565658 (talk) 12:29, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Here I done. Are you satisfied? --Sanja565658 (talk) 12:39, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Phylloneta sisyphia
Mithril (talk) 04:10, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- Я не возражаю. Я бы и сам переименовал, но вот... не умею. Может скоро научусь. Если хотите можете переименовать.--Sanja565658 (talk) 04:47, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- Кажется, технология ничем не отличается от той, что в википедии. Я перенёс файл во вновь созданную категорию и изменил его описание. Имя файла осталось прежним. Mithril (talk) 06:33, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Cimbex_lutea has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this gallery, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. |

Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.CategorizationBot (talk) 13:41, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Photo locations
[edit]Hi Aleksandr - it would be very nice if you could add locations to all your plant photos at User:Sanja565658/Plantae, please! It would make the images far more valuable. Thanks! - MPF (talk) 00:00, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
