EXIF Metadata
Does the bot correct the EXIF meta data where most digital cameras store the information that the original image is rotated? Why not adopt the MediaWiki software that it recognize this flag, as every good image viewer does? --RokerHRO (talk) 08:17, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- yes, the bot correct the flag with jpegexiforient to 1. Why the mediawiki software don't rotate this images automatically, you must ask the developer, not me. :-) But a lot of files don't have this exif tag. Greetings, --Luxo 11:11, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
- My files had it. And I think it would be better if it would be possible to store the original images here, instead of rotated versions of them. At least, the rotation is lossless. Better than lossy rotation. --RokerHRO (talk) 22:25, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
