More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). Thanks for uploading File:Carpet Museum in Baku.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Carpet Museum in Baku.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

- There are several other images which also require permission, since these have been previously published. This permission is necessary at all times when previously published material is placed here under more liberal copyright license than at its original point of publication, but in this case a contributor to the Administrator's Noticeboard on the English language Wikipedia asserts that the flickr account owner has denied being you. (See [1]). The simplest way to verify is to alter your flickr website to verify the license selected here, since the flickr website copyright indications are at variance with these. Alternatively, you may send an e-mail to the Wikimedia Foundation from an address clearly connected to that flickr account verifying that you are this individual and that you permit these images to be released under this license. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Thank you. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:34, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Azerbaijani girl in Khachmaz Rayon
[edit]There seems to be a problem regarding the description of this file: Azerbaijani girl in Khachmaz Rayon. You've added in the image's description “Azerbaijani girl in Khachmaz Rayon” but in Khachmaz live Lezgins and Turks and both of them are Azerbaijani. Now some person changes the description as “Lezghian girl” and some person as “Turkish girl”. Could you please change the description of this image properly. Thank you.--Melikov Memmed (talk) 16:08, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
