Hallo, mir ist heute morgen beim Neue Versionen hochladen rin Fauxpas passiert

Hallo Renardo la Vulpo, beim Hochladen von aufgehellt Versionen der Dateien File:St. Agatha (Uffing am Staffelsee) 9.jpg und File:St. Agatha (Uffing am Staffelsee) 8.jpg habe ich die Bilder vertauscht. Jetzt befinden sich die bearbeiteten Bilder beim anderen. Könnt ihr "Obersichter" oder Admins das Versehen beheben. @Ricardalovesmonuments, das ist kein großes Problem: Du lädst einfach die richtigen Bilder als dritte Version hoch, mit einem kurzen Kommentar. Ich wollte gerade das richtige Bild hochladen, da mach mir der Hochlade-Assistent ein Strich durch die Rechnung und lud einfach wieder das selbe Bild hoch, weil er nicht bemerkte das Ur-Version und neue das selbe nur heller bzw dunkler sind. @Ricardalovesmonuments, bei File:St._Agatha_(Uffing_am_Staffelsee)_10.jpg ist jetzt meinem Eindruck nach die richtige Version aktiv. Falls bei dir noch die falsche angezeigt wird, probier mal Folgendes: (1) Neu laden im Browser, (2) Im Menü unter „Mehr“ das „Purge“ auswählen. Unter „Dateiversionen“ sieht man jedenfalls, dass es drei Versionen gibt, und dass die neueste der ersten ziemlich ähnlich ist, also hat alles geklappt. Nur stehen manchmal noch alte Versionen in einem Cache, entweder im Browser oder auch innerhalb von Wikimedia Commons (dafür ist das „Purge“). -- Renardo la vulpo (talk) 17:13, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

@Ricardalovesmonuments, ich nehme an, es geht dir hauptsächlich darum, deine eigenen Beiträge zu sichten. Trag dich dazu mal bei Commons:Requests for rights#Autopatrol ein. (Aus irgendeinem Grund geht das anscheinend nur auf Englisch, oder es geht auf Englisch zumindest schneller.) Wenn du so viele Bilder hochgeladen und auch in nützlicher Weise beschrieben hast, sollte das ziemlich schnell gehen.

Changed the category because it's inside a bus, not a tram. None of the Strasbourg trams are equiped with this kind of button. Also going to ask to rename the photo to avoid any mistake.

Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

• To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
• To perform file name swaps.
• When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning.
