Reminder
[edit]Hi Radiojunkie. I noticed that you've made a malformed deletion request. When you want to delete a page by manually using the {{Delete}} template, please remember to follow the instructions in the template, including the "Click here to show further instructions" portion, otherwise you will create a lot of work for other people. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 10:06, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hi @Jeff G.: , sorry for that. So how do I correctly delete a doubled category? --Radiojunkie (talk) 13:28, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- You follow all the instructions in {{Delete}} or Commons:Deletion requests/Listing a request manually. Or, you use {{Catred}} instead, if there is any possibility someone might want to use the old cat name. See also COM:TALK. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 14:11, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
Was your rename discussed anywhere beforehand? This is a bad move. Andy Dingley (talk) 22:36, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
- OK, let's discuss. Sorry for the renaming without a discussion, but I had found a very big mess in all these categories dealing with signals/signalling and railway interlocking. Radiojunkie (talk) 06:17, 22 June 2023 (UTC)
Ra 12/So 12 (German railway signal) vorschlagen. -- Platte U.N.V.E.U. 14:48, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- Habe es so gemacht.

JopkeB (talk) 15:27, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
Tuesday and Saturday mornings
[edit]Thanks for your fixes to categories. Maybe you are already aware, there is a bot that runs twice a week removing manual qids (sample). Obviously, there are some it skips as it can't fix them automatically. Enhancing999 (talk) 10:55, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- I am mostly adding missing Commons Category statements in Wikidata. However, I have seen Infobox calls with non-standard syntax, which the bot might not be able to fix. Anyway, thanks for the hint and the information when the bot is running. Radiojunkie (talk) 11:01, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- Interesting. The day before, it copies them over to Wikidata. There are some other stuff done at intervals I haven't figured out (or not at all): add missing category statements, bypass redirects in category statements, remove category statements that refer to deleted categories or disambiguation categories. Enhancing999 (talk) 11:34, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- I think the bot struggles with line breaks or blanks inside the infobox call. As a benefit, I sometimes stumble upon wrong or outdated manual qids and/or entries in Wikidata. Radiojunkie (talk) 16:14, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- If you list a few problem cases, maybe the bot can be adjusted to process them. I noticed it can leave spaces [1], but it didn't matter there. Just noticed that User:Pi bot has the schedule and code for all processes. If I have a bit more time, I might find out what to change ;) Enhancing999 (talk) 16:47, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- Just some examples: [2] and [3]. It seems that removal of the manual qid was not processed by the bot, maybe due to the unnecessary line breaks or pipe. Radiojunkie (talk) 17:48, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- It could be that it can be fixed by adding two lines to [4]. Enhancing999 (talk) 18:41, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

qid removal
[edit]In at least one instance, you made {{Wikidata infobox}} unusable. Please ensure that there is proper integration at d: before removing local qids and review your edits to ensure that you haven't done this multiple times. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 19:13, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation pages
