Football / soccer

Eh, thanks for doing massive football -> soccer moves without asking anybody else. What's your reasoning behind this? I did a lot work with those categories a couple of months ago. --Lumijaguaari (моє обговорення) 00:00, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Sorry but it was written that the category football or football players (i don't remember) had to move because there was the same on soccer. I didn't not ask anybody else because I didn't know who i had to. Pepito 14:23, 1 June 2006 (UTC) sorry for my english

Your English is just fine. Actually I was moving soccer categories into football but the work wasn't done. And you kind of reversed the whole work. --Lumijaguaari (моє обговорення) 00:58, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

I also do that because the term football is ambigus (american football or australian football) soccer is less ambigus I think. Sorry again because it takes you time to move soccer into football as it takes me time to do the opposed. Pepito 22:50, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

So why couldn't leave football as it is and put american football into american football and australian football into australian football? Yes I think football is the better name to use but they are more american people on wikipedia and they impose there point of view. See there for one of the several discussions on English wikipedia. Pepito ✉ 17:57, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
