I don't want to delete them. It is just a shame that they contain raster graphics which makes them of inferior quality. It would just be nice if your svg contain raster elements to mark them with {{BadSVG}} --Cwbm (commons) (talk) 18:03, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

You seem to be the one that is somehow noticing raster elements, so please mark them as bad SVGs if it makes you happier. I frequently make sketches to use in arguing with physics contributors who need to have something visualized for them. You can easily recognize raster elements when you look at the source code of the file. Which makes me wander what program you use and how are you composing the files? You must be noticing when you add a raster elment to a svg if you use a regular svg editor. --Cwbm (commons) (talk) 21:42, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

I discovered, after seeing your messages, that I can open svg files with one of my specialized text editors. For SVG I use Inkscape, which has problems with some things that I use often--arrows with heads frequently don't work right, for one thing.Patrick Edwin Moran (talk) 01:07, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

There are some incompatibilities between Inkscape and the software on this site when it comes to diagonal arrowheads; it would probably be easier to resolve them to ordinary vector data, instead of using special "marker" code... AnonMoos (talk) 03:14, 27 March 2013 (UTC)

Please don't take things too gravely -- useful images will hardly be deleted over arrowhead orientation problems! In any case, despite possessing a number of quirks and idiosyncrasies, Inkscape is apparently one of the better SVG editors out there (though there may be better general vector editing programs). I was actually offering converting to basic vector paths as an easier alternative fix than tussling with RSVG-Inkscape "marker" incompatibilities, but I can't give direct advice on how to do it, because I only use Inkscape for testing and converting SVGs (not actually for editing SVGs). I do not know how to contact the author of wiki images, nor how to use these user pages, so please forgive any transgressions I have made.

Your excellent svg image of the w:Delayed choice quantum eraser experiment setup would be improved by rotating "Beam Splitter C" clockwise by some 20 degrees or so; that way it would be more obvious to the eye that the half-mirror actually combines the "red" and "blue" beams into two "mixed red/blue" beams.
