Commons:Threshold of originality

Thank you for patrolling Wikimedia Commons! I just want to make you notice that your edit at File:Yale World Fellows logo.gif wasn't correct. There is a concept called threshold of originality (Commons:Threshold of originality). In this case, the logo is not considered a "work of authorship" because it only consists of text in a simple typeface (PD-textlogo), so it is not an object of copyright in respect to US law. However, this logo is still protected by trademark laws (Trademarked). Just add the template {{Trademarked}} next to the license template to make people notice that it is protected by trademark laws.
