Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Thank you for letting me know this. I wasn't aware of this just because I had added messages to bureaucrat's noticeboard to have bureaucrats add Micki and MarcoAurelio for OTRS flag and it was done. You can review all kind of image licenses on Commons. Please see Commons:License review and Commons:Flickr files if you haven't done so already. Backlogs include Flickr review, Picasa review, Panoramio review, and files from other sources. You can use one of the following scripts by adding them to your common.js:

image deleted

Hello, the file:Adriani intervista.jpg has been deleted, despite I chose the lincense and the picture was of my property. Sorry, I think to understand the rules about license, but I can't understand the correct procedure for uploading images. Now, is it possible to restore or reupload the same file? Help me, please :)

Hello. First, you must send a permission to OTRS at the email address permissions-commons@wikimedia.org which confirms that you are the author of the image. The volunteer there will deal with your email. Then you post your undeletion request here. The admins will consider restoring your image if it has sufficient permission. Good luck. Thanks, as soon as it possible, I'll do it, but I don't understand the reason why the image has been deleted. The license is GNU, I wrote this in file's detail. So, which is the problem?

Yes, you had stated your license information at image description page. That's not a problem. The problem is that you are the author of the image or not to release it to that free license. As you can see in the {{no permission since}} tag It has an author and source, but there is no proof that the author of the file agreed to license the file under the given license. That's why you need to send a permission email to the email address above. I hope you will understand it by now. BTW, you should sign your name in the conversation. Hi, i new to this so bear with me. I uploaded a picture of a dasiy, titled dasises in kent, which i took myself, but i dont know how to get the permissions i need. ive tryed to email permissions to permissions_commons@wikipedia.org but the email always said it couldnt send it, what can i do, please help, thankyou.Gouldtime1 (talk) 11:47, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Hello. First, thank you for letting me know this. The reason I has tagged your image for missing permission is that it has low resolution with no EXIF data and there are some pages on the Internet containing it so I don't think it's your own work. Here is an example. I use Google Image to search it. However, if you are the real author, you can confirm this by sending email permission to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org (not permissions_commons@wikipedia.org). Image has been deleted

I have 4 files that have been deleted.

I read [the deletion request topic] and it is closed.

I'm the author of these photos. I took them when I attended an anniversary. I shared them with the lion dance team and they allowed me to use the photos of my free will. They published some of my photos with their logo. But I uploaded the photos to wiki commons without logo. So I think they are not copyright violations or I may misunderstand something of the rules.

So please let me know whether I can ask an undeletion of them on [this page]
