Covid Warriors' Diaries
[edit]Covid Warriors’ Diaries is a narration of untold stories of ordinary people who made differences in life of many people knowingly or unknowingly. It narrates the adverse conditions they dealt while serving people in different fields. The book was released on January 22, 2022 by His Excellency, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. It is authored by Mihir Kisan Bhoir.
The protagonists in the books includes Shri chandrakant Thorat, Dr Manju Lodha, Dr Charuta Mandke, Dr Dhiraj Kumar, Rashmi Upadhyaya, Dr Shefali Kesharwani, Dr Siddhnath Dubey, Dr Shweta Mayekar, Dr Vaibhavi Majgaonkar, Dr Pooja Pandey, Shri Hemang Jangla, Shri Ajit Pandey, Shri Arvind Dubey, Shri Shankar Munse, Shri Ravi Solanki.
The book is edited and foreword is written by Dr Suleman Merchant, Former Dean, Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital. It has 15 chapters and narrates in detail about the ground reality and efforts of each protagonist. An additional chapter is written by Dr Suleman Merchant on Vitamin D3, its benefits and how to avert any health issues.
The book got loud acclaims by the His Excellency, the Governor of Maharashtra, Hon’ Shri Rajesh Tope, Minister of Public Health & Family Welfare, Government of Maharashtra and many such dignatories.
