- The following email exchanges, the last of which was on 27/2/2023, with the department of Bristol City Council responsible for Know your Place indicate that there is no copyright problem with the way I proposed to use the image in question on Wikipedia.
- "Dear Mark,
- Use of images is usually fine with reference back to the source, ie Know Your Place.
- Any errors can be corrected in the same way as making a community submission to the site, just add a new point at the location of the error and describe what needs amending in the description field.
- Best wishes,
- Pete

- Another question. If one finds an error in the captioning of one of these photographs - how can one correct it?
- With best wishes,
- Mark

- Dear Mark,
- Apologies for the long delay in responding. This is because officers monitoring this email account left the authority earlier this year. I hope that in the mean time you have identified the image owner, but the Loxton’s all belong to the Bristol Reference Library so you should consult with them about the image use.

- Subject: KYP Loxton Ink Drawing
- Dear Sir or Madam, I have found a "Loxton Ink Drawing" of Coombe House, Canford Lane, Westbury on Trym. Can you tell me who owns the ink drawing so I can request permission to use it in a couple of not for profit publications.
